I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was a young girl, drawn to the magic of capturing people as they are. I studied photography in high school and college, but life shifted. Years of raising kids, growing through change, and finding my way back to myself eventually led me back to my first love: photography. And this time, with a deeper purpose, to help others feel seen in their most honest, powerful, and beautiful light.
At SM Studios, I photograph people because people are my passion. Whether it’s capturing someone in their full sensual power through boudoir, telling their story through portraiture, or helping small businesses stand out with intentional branding imagery, my goal is always the same: to help you see yourself as whole, worthy, and beautiful.
Clients describe me as laid-back, easy to work with, and someone who creates a space where they feel safe to express who they really are. That matters to me. I believe in authenticity, soul, and showing up as you are, whether you’re in front of the camera or behind it.
When I’m not in the studio, you can find me in the garden with coffee in hand, cooking a fresh meal, or planning my next trip with my husband. Creativity isn’t just something I do, it’s how I live.
